Willie McGinest Expects Darrelle Revis To Finish Career With Patriots

Darrelle Revis might have found a home in New England, according to one Patriots legend.

Three-time Super Bowl champion Willie McGinest thinks Revis will finish his career with the Patriots.

“I expect him to never leave,” McGinest said on NFL Network. “I told him this will probably be his last destination.”

Revis has a $20 million option in his contract for the 2015 season, which the Patriots are expected to decline, making him a free agent. The Patriots would need to work out a long-term deal with Revis if there’s mutual interest for the cornerback to stick around in New England.

Revis has lived up to his lofty expectations while making $12 million this season. He was named to the All-Pro team and Pro Bowl roster.

The Patriots play the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday in a divisional-round playoff game. It’s Revis’ first playoff appearance in five years.
