If Kanye West comes to Boston any time soon, he probably should steer clear of Brandon Browner.

The rapper ruffled some feathers at the Grammys on Sunday when he nearly interrupted Beck’s acceptance speech for the “Album of the Year” award, saying after the show that the rocker should have given his award to BeyoncĂ©. Apparently, the New England Patriots cornerback didn’t agree.

Browner, of course, is talking about Taylor Swift, who actually was 19 when she was upstaged by West at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, but that’s besides Browner’s point.

Browner’s last tweet is in reference to West’s song “Through the Wire,” which he recorded while his jaw was wired shut following his 2002 car accident.

The Pats cornerback also started referring to West by an unflattering nickname.

We’re going to have to give this one to Browner. He makes some great points, and if he actually were to go head-to-head with West, we have a feeling the 6-foot-4, 221-pound professional football player might have a slight advantage.

Plus, the cornerback made it clear that this is solely between West and himself.
