The Boston Bruins are staring down a four-game losing streak, and they might be about to take another big loss.

Coach Claude Julien told the media Tuesday, per Boston.com, that Kevan Miller flew to Boston to have his shoulder evaluated. The defenseman left Monday’s loss against the Calgary Flames in the second period with an injury to his right shoulder, the same one he dislocated in a fight with Buffalo Sabres forward Nicolas Deslauriers on Oct. 18.

Miller said earlier this month that he likely would need surgery this offseason.

Miller has seven points (two goals, five assists) in 41 games this season, and his plus-20 rating leads all Bruins.
