FORT MYERS, Fla. — Dustin Pedroia no longer needs to document his every move. The Boston Red Sox second baseman is in full swing at spring training.

Red Sox manager John Farrell said Tuesday that Pedroia has been sending him video clips of his hitting sessions since November. Pedroia put his preparation on display Wednesday when Boston’s position players took batting practice as part of the club’s first official full-squad workout at JetBlue Park.

Pedroia was grouped with Pablo Sandoval and Mike Napoli during BP. Sandoval, a switch-hitter, hit from the left side while teamed with Pedroia and Napoli, but he later took some cuts from the right side alongside Christian Vazquez and Daniel Nava.
