Ex-Giants QB Jared Lorenzen Burns Jameis Winston With ‘Fat Tuesday’ Joke

Former New York Giants quarterback Jared Lorenzen certainly knows how to celebrate Fat Tuesday.

The 320-pound signal-caller — who now plays in the Continental Indoor Football League for the Northern Kentucky River Monsters — took to Twitter to make a Mardi Gras-themed joke about Jameis Winston’s possible weight gain.

Winston’s private quarterback coach George Whitfield assured the world Sunday that the photo of Winston is a month old and that he’s still in great shape. But even if Winston did pack on a few pounds before Friday’s NFL Scouting Combine, the Hefty Lefty is living proof that the former Heisman Trophy winner could still have a career in football.
