The United States men’s and women’s national soccer teams’ road trips will turn them blue almost everywhere except in the face.
Nike unveiled new road uniforms for the men’s and women’s national teams Monday. Gone are the firecracker-popsicle-looking uniforms of yesteryear. Both Team USAs now will wear an almost entirely blue uniform on their travels.

The shorts are navy blue, as is the lowest rung of the jersey. The shades of blue lighten progressively as the eye moves toward the top of the jersey. Blue fades to white in the shoulder and neck areas.

The U.S. women’s national team will debut the new uniforms next month in the Algarve Cup in Portugal, starting on March 4. Team USA also will wear them at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

The U.S. men’s national team will wear the new uniform for the first time in its exhibition game against Denmark on March 25.
