Roberto Luongo is having a bounce-back season with the Florida Panthers, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be the victim of some bad luck.
The veteran goaltender gave up one of the most embarrassing goals you’ll ever see Tuesday night against the Anaheim Ducks. With the Panthers leading 5-1, Ducks forward Tim Jackman decided to just dump the puck into the Florida zone from the neutral zone.
A couple of whacky bounces later, and Jackman had one of the most improbable goals of the season.
That certainly is embarrassing, huh? In typical Luongo fashion, though, the goalie was able to make fun of himself after the game. He posted this photo to Twitter, assuring everyone that he’s got the solution all figured out.

Perfect.
Of course, it was a little easier to laugh things off given the fact that the goal didn’t really hurt the Panthers. They rolled to a 6-2 win over Anaheim, one of the NHL’s best teams.
