ACC Tournament Odds: Duke Blue Devils Enter As Betting Favorites

Duke vs. North CarolinaAfter wrapping up their schedule with 11 straight straight-up wins, the Duke Blue Devils enter the postseason as the No. 2 seed and the 5/4 favorites on the odds to win the ACC tournament at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Blue Devils capped off their regular season on Saturday with a decisive 84-77 win over the rival North Carolina Tar Heels, covering as 1.5-point road underdogs in the victory. The win extended Duke?s current against-the-spread win streak to three games, following a 15-game stretch during which they failed to post back-to-back ATS wins.

Duke will now enjoy a few days rest while they await the winner of Wednesday?s North Carolina State vs. Pittsburgh matchup.

No. 1 Virginia trails Duke on the odds to win the ACC Tournament at 9/5 at the sportsbooks. The 16-2 Cavaliers ended their regular season with a disappointing 59-57 loss to the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday, ending a nine-game SU win streak.

The Cavs, whose only other loss this season came at home against Duke, failed to cover as three-point favorites on the college basketball odds against the Cards, dropping their ATS record to 3-8-1 in their last 12 games.

The Cardinals and Tar Heels are joined by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a three-way tie on the ACC tournament betting lines with odds of 13/2 at the sportsbooks.

While Notre Dame and Louisville enjoy first-round and second-round byes in this week?s tourney, North Carolina will be in action on Wednesday when they take on the winner of Tuesday?s Boston College vs. Georgia Tech matchup at Greensboro Coliseum.

The Tar Heels struggled down the stretch after opening conference play with a 7-1 record. UNC are just 4-6 since, going 5-5 ATS, but are a combined 3-0 SU and ATS this season against the Eagles and Yellow Jackets according to the OddsShark College Basketball Database.

North Carolina State trails the favorites at 25/1 on the odds to win the ACC tournament . The seventh-seeded Wolfpack ended their regular season with a middling 10-8 conference record, but finished strong with five SU and ATS wins in their last six games, including convincing upset victories over Louisville and UNC.

The Miami Hurricanes ended their season tied with the Wolfpack at 10-8, but trail in conference tournament betting at 28/1 at the sportsbooks. The Panthers are next, at a distant 100/1, followed by the Clemson Tigers and Florida State Seminoles at 200/1.

The four teams that open the tournament with first-round action on Tuesday also share long-shot honors, with the Boston College Eagles, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, and Virginia Tech Hokies each sporting odds of 500/1 on those college basketball betting futures.
