In the sixth inning of an Arkansas-LSU baseball game Thursday night, Tigers shortstop Alex Bregman hit a home run.

An Arkansas fan out behind left field saw said home runĀ coming toward himĀ and ran over to try to catch it in his hat. He failed. Why? Because his hat had a giant hole in it.

Sorry, Arkansas fan, but that’s a visor. You can’t catch baseballs with visors, because visorsĀ have holes in them.

To be fair, we have to give this guy credit for sticking it out for a rainy college baseball game while utter madness occurred in NCAA Tournament games across the country. And the whole visor thing didn’t matter anyway, because the ball sailed just wide of his outstretched hollow ring.

But still, you might want to wear a hat next time.
