Berkshire Bank Faceoff: Projected Lines, Pairings For Bruins-Lightning

The Boston Bruins return to the ice Sunday evening against the Tampa Bay Lightning less than 22 hours after losing 2-1 in a shootout to the Florida Panthers.

There are a few lineup changes of note heading into Bruins-Lightning.

Zach Trotman was recalled from the Providence Bruins on an emergency basis Sunday. The 24-year-old defenseman will enter Boston’s lineup because Dougie Hamilton isn’t able to play. Hamilton left Saturday’s game in the second period with an undisclosed injury.

Right winger Reilly Smith also will return after being a healthy scratch Saturday. He hasn’t scored in 11 games, but the Bruins are desperate for offense and are playing a Lightning team that ranks first in goals scored per game.

Ben Bishop will start in net for the Lightning. He’s 0-1-1 with a .906 save percentage in two starts against the Bruins this season. Tuukka Rask is expected to start for the Bruins after making 26 saves Saturday.
