Jae Crowder knows how to win the hearts of Boston Celtics fans.

Crowder, who came to Boston just three months ago as part of the Rajon Rondo trade, quickly has emerged as one of the most important members of a Celtics team fighting for a playoff spot and a favorite of head coach Brad Stevens, who often raves about the forward’s competitive fire.

The 24-year-old didn’t have his best game Monday night, going 3-for-13 from the floor in a 110-91 win over the Brooklyn Nets, but his post on Instagram after the game is sure to please Celtics supporters.

Crowder has a long, long way to go to catch Kevin Garnett, in terms of both basketball accomplishments and fan adoration, but he and the rest of this Celtics squad already have made great strides toward returning the C’s to respectability in Boston.
