Just over three weeks. That’s all that remains between now and the merciful end to the New York Knicks’ basketball season.

The Knicks haven’t had the best go of it this season, and that continued Monday in a blowout loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Yet the final score wasn’t the low point of the night. That honor, without a doubt, belonged to Lou Amundson.

Yes, that’s Amundson getting absolutely rocked by Grizzlies guard Mike Conley. And yes, a foul was called. On Amundson.

We’re not sure how taking a sternum to the jaw constitutes a foul on Amundson, but this is a Knicks team that recently was an underdog against the Philadelphia 76ers, so we’re not ruling anything out.

As for Amundson, he finished the night with three fouls and three points.
