Mario Balotelli hasn’t played much for Liverpool or Italy recently but he remains a starter on the all-Instagram team.
Balotelli told his critics to “shut up” Tuesday in an a passionate video post on Instagram. Balotelli divides opinion like few others in the soccer world, and critics take shots — both fair and cheap — at him whenever they have the chance. There’s no telling what prompted Balotelli to respond this time, but here it is in all its glory:
Balotelli abandoned his fun-loving ways in this particular post. The Italian’s message to his critics might surprise some of his followers, who are used to seeing him pose for pictures with friends and run away from dogs, who only want to be his friend.
