Things didn’t look good for the North Carolina State basketball team Thursday night.
The Wolfpack faced off against LSU in a “second-round” NCAA Tournament matchup, and things got off to a miserable start NC State. LSU jumped out to a big lead early, and the Tigers carried a 14-point advantage to halftime.
That’s when the comeback started. The Wolfpack shot the lights out in the second half and climbed back into the game.
NC State got the ball in the hands of BeeJay Anya with seconds to play and down by one. He was able to make a running shot with 0.1 seconds to play, giving NC State the win.
The bucket sent the Wolfpack players and fans in attendance into pandemonioum, but they weren’t the only ones celebrating. Back in Raleigh, fans gathered to watch the game, and their reaction speaks for itself.
