One day after not being tendered as an exclusive-rights free agent, Brian Tyms is back with the New England Patriots.

The Patriots re-signed Tyms, according to the NFL’s transaction wire. Terms of his contract were not disclosed.

The 6-foot-3, 204-pound wide receiver caught five passes for 82 yards and one touchdown last season with the Patriots.

Tyms was suspended for the first four games of the 2014 season for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy, then went on to play in 11 of the Patriots’ final 12 games. The deep-threat wideout caught two passes for 12 yards in 2013 with the Cleveland Browns.
