The Boston Celtics reportedly are one of three NBA teams interested in D-League wing Eric Griffin.

The Celtics are eyeing Griffin for a potential call-up, league sources told RealGM on Monday. The 24-year-old is averaging 17.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game in his second season with the Texas Legends, the Dallas Mavericks’ D-League affiliate.

Griffin went undrafted out of Campbell University in 2012 and spent the following two seasons playing professionally in Italy, Puerto Rico and Venezuela. The 6-foot-8 forward never has appeared in an NBA game but has found success in the league’s lower circuit, earning a spot in the starting lineup for this season’s D-League All-Star Game.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz also have expressed interest in calling up Griffin, per RealGM’s sources.
