The New England Patriots reportedly brought four veteran cornerbacks to Gillette Stadium for free-agent visits.

The Patriots hosted cornerbacks Terence Newman, Tarell Brown, Bradley Fletcher and Robert McClain, ESPN’s Mike Reiss reported Tuesday.

Newman, 36, was a fifth-overall pick in the 2003 NFL draft out of Kansas State. He’s played with the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals. He started 13 games last season for the Bengals.

Brown, 30, started 14 games for the Oakland Raiders last season. He spent seven seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, starting his final three seasons. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL draft out of Texas.

Fletcher, 28, started 15 games for the Philadelphia Eagles last season. He began his career with the St. Louis Rams as a third-round pick in 2009.

McClain, 26, was the Atlanta Falcons’ nickel cornerback from 2012 to 2014. He also has spent time with the Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars. He was a seventh-round pick in 2010 out of UConn.

The Patriots declined to pick up the 2015 contract options of starting cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner. Revis signed with the New York Jets, and Browner latched on with the New Orleans Saints.
