The New England Patriots could be without both of their starting cornerbacks after the first day of free agency.

The Patriots “sense” that Revis will sign with the New York Jets, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported, citing sources. Revis became a free agent Tuesday at 4 p.m., when the Patriots didn’t pick up his $20 million option.

Schefter reported the Patriots still will make a final push to sign Revis.

The Patriots also declined fellow starting cornerback Brandon Browner’s option Tuesday. Browner officially is a free agent, as well.

CSNNE.com’s Tom E. Curran reported that Browner and Revis will sign in the next 18 to 24 hours.
