The New England Patriots’ search for a defensive tackle continues.

The Patriots are among four teams showing interest in Terrance Knighton, The Denver Post’s Troy Renck reported Tuesday. Knighton revived his career with the Denver Broncos after spending four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 6-foot-3, 331-pound Hartford, Conn., native recorded 38 total pressures with the Broncos in 2013. He has rated well as a run defender by Pro Football Focus over the previous two seasons.

The Washington Redskins, Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers also have shown interest in Knighton, though the Broncos are “out,” Renck reported. Knighton has the versatility and size to fill Vince Wilfork’s old role along the Patriots’ defensive line. Wilfork is a free agent reportedly receiving interest from the Houston Texans, though he could return to the Patriots.
