Senators’ Curtis Lazar Eats Burger Thrown On Ice After Win Vs. Bruins (Video)

Curtis Lazar must have been really, really hungry.

The Ottawa Senators forward did what most would consider a dicey move at best Thursday night after his team defeated the Boston Bruins, continuing its playoff push for the second Eastern Conference wild card spot.

As the Senators were celebrating their 6-4 victory on the ice, Sens fans heaved hamburgers onto the ice. They were doing so, of course, to honor goalie Andrew “The Hamburglar” Hammond, who picked up yet another win.

Lazar clearly worked up an appetite during the game and with hamburgers raining from the skies, the 20-year-old decided it was a good idea to pick up one of the burgers and chow down. Cameras caught Lazar eating the burger as he came skating off the ice.

Just a little bit gross, no? Not only are you eating a presumably cold hamburger from a stranger, you’re eating it after it’s been laying on ice that’s treated by chemicals and other things that aren’t necessarily considered burger condiments.

Speaking of condiments, Lazar gave his best Food Network judge impression after the game.
