Roberto Luongo has struggled at times in his career against the Boston Bruins, most notably in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final.

The then-Vancouver Canucks goaltender was lit up by the Bruins at TD Garden in three crucial games paving the way to Boston’s win. However, what many likely forget is that the Garden hasn’t always been a house of horrors for Luongo.

The goalie made his NHL debut in Boston back in 1999 where he picked up the win, stopping 43 of 44 Bruins shots. Then a member of the New York Islanders, Luongo was aided by a game-winning goal from an eventual Norris Trophy-winning defenseman.

Can you name that player?
