WWE fans fantasy booking a dream match involving Ronda Rousey might want to pump the breaks.
The UFC mega star thrilled fans of both promotions last month when she made a surprise appearance at “WrestleMania” at Levi’s Stadium. Rousey appeared in the ring alongside some of WWE’s biggest stars, and it looked like the WWE could be setting her up to be part of a storyline down the road.
That’s not the case, at least according to UFC president Dana White. He spoke with the Fight Network recently, firmly stating Rousey’s appearance in the WWE was a “one and done” thing.
That seems to make some sense, given Rousey’s incredible star power and how valuable she is to UFC. However, the parties involved don’t sound like they’re on the same page. The Wrestling Observers reports that the WWE creative team was shocked to learn of White’s emphatic proclamation.
