The puppies are picking the horses.
It’s anybody’s guess who will be crowned the 2015 Kentucky Derby winner, as the field is as stacked as ever this year. So, when in doubt, leave it to Jimmy Fallon and some adorable pups to predict the winner of the race. In arguably his cutest segment on the show, Fallon brought out a group of puppies on “The Tonight Show” with each one representing one of the thoroughbreds.
After some chaos at the beginning of the “race,” American Pharoah came out on top, which is good news for everyone who has their money on that horse because he’s the favorite to win the Derby at 9-4 odds. But if this is any indication of how Saturday’s Run for the Roses will go — and clearly it is — War Story’s trainer should be a little concerned, as he didn’t even make it out of the gate.
