Justin Verlander and Kate Upton are one of baseball’s biggest power couples, and the Detroit Tigers pitcher is about to get a whole lot busier over the next few months.
Before the MLB season kicked off, however, Verlander and his Sports Illustrated swimsuit model girlfriend decided to show off their acting chops. Upton on Sunday posted a video to Instagram of the two re-creating a scene from the 2008 comedy “Step Brothers.”
Two M’s. That was the confusion.
We’ve got to hand it to Verlander, whose impression of Will Ferrell’s Brennan Huff is pretty solid, as well as Upton, who performs admirably as Pam. But the highlight of the video has to be that fresh beat playing in the background.
Verlander is battling a triceps injury and might not make his first start until next week, but apparently he’s got an acting career to fall back on if things don’t work out.
