Kris Humphries, by all accounts, was happy to escape the reality-TV limelight after his drawn-out divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalized two years ago.
Humphries threw himself back into the fray Friday night with one tweet.
After Bruce Jenner, Humphries’ former father-in-law, revealed to the world he’s a transgender woman, the former Boston Celtics forward tweeted one sentence that can be taken many ways — none of them positive.

Humphries quickly realized his mistake and backtracked the next morning.

Perhaps Humphries just had too much time on his hands: He hasn’t played in any of the Washington Wizards’ playoff games this month.
