Golf: The Masters-Par 3 ContestThe Masters and Augusta National Golf Club have a checkered past, but there’s no denying at least one of the tournament’s time-honored traditions is just fantastic.

The tournament teed off Thursday morning to begin golf’s major season, but it’s already been a busy week at Augusta. That includes Wednesday’s par 3 contest, the annual tournament that places more emphasis on fun and spending time with family and friends than it does on winning.

This year was no exception, as some of the best golfers in the world blew off some steam ahead of one of the biggest weekends of the season by playing a relaxing round. As is tradition, wives, girlfriends, children and friends served as “caddies” for the golfers, which made for some adorable photo opportunities.
