Mike Tyson's mansionMike Tyson’s abandoned Ohio mansion won’t be abandoned for long.

The larger-than-life estate was home to the former heavyweight champion of the world during the late 1980s and early 1990s, but now, it’s set to accommodate many more people. The massive space, which has had many owners since Tyson, will be converted into a church, according to TMZ Sports.

Pastor Nick Dejacimo with The Living Word Sanctuary purchased the property that sits on 60 acres and includes five bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, crystal chandeliers and tiger-print carpet for $750,000. Needless to say, some major renovations are underway to turn the space into a place for worship.

The pastor even went so far as to invite Tyson to attend the first service in the sanctuary, but we’ll just have to wait and see if the retired boxer takes him up on that offer.

Tyson bought the Southington, Ohio, home in the ’80s to be closer to boxing promoter Don King, whose training facility was located about 20 miles away.
