There’s having a case of the Mondays, and then there’s what Bryan Price did Monday afternoon.

The Cincinnati Reds manager met with the media in Milwaukee before his team’s game against the Brewers. He was asked a simple question about catcher Devin Mesoraco, who the Cincinnati Enquirer reported wasn’t with the team for Sunday’s contest with the St. Louis Cardinals.

Price confirmed that report after Sunday’s game, but he wasn’t too happy when asked Monday for an update on Mesoraco.

“Obviously he’s not here,” Price told reporters. “We broke that story last night, apparently.”

But that was just the beginning.

After a reporter asked if Mesoraco would be available for Tuesday’s game, Price responded with the most epic of epic tirades. According to the Enquirer, the rant lasted five minutes and 34 seconds and included  “77 uses of the ‘F’ word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).”

The Enquirer’s C. Trent Rosecrans transcribed the entire flip-out, which definitely is worth a read. Here’s a sample:

“I’m f****** sick of this s***. It’s f****** hard enough to f****** win here to have f****** every f****** opponent know exactly what the f*** we bring to the table every day. It’s f****** horse****.”

A full audio recording of the rant can be found below. It’s censored, but be forewarned: There are a LOT of bleeps.

H/t to Deadspin for the audio
