Sasha Banks, Other NXT Divas Could Take AJ Lee’s Place In WWE (Photos)

WWE was left with one fewer Diva last week after AJ Lee retired from wrestling.

Alicia Fox, Cameron, Eva Marie, Layla, Naomi, Natalya, Paige, Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella make up WWE’s now-shallow Divas roster with Lee gone. A Divas battle royal will be held Monday on “WWE Raw” to decide the division’s new No. 1 contender for Nikki Bella’s WWE Divas Championship belt.

Could the WWE call up a Diva from developmental division NXT to participate in the match? The company’s website possibly hinted that a call-up is imminent, with a poll asking which NXT Diva should be brought up to replace Lee.
