Kentucky will have to settle for 38-1.

Wisconsin stunned Kentucky in their Final Four matchup Saturday night in Indianapolis, ending the Wildcats’ perfect season with a 71-64 win in one of the most exciting games of the NCAA Tournament thus far.

Wisconsin forward Sam Dekker was the hero, as he hit a 3-pointer with 1:44 to go, then drew a charge at the other end to give the Badgers a four-point lead they didn’t relinquish. It was part of a 15-4 run that picked up Wisconsin after being down by four in the final four minutes.

Dekker finished the night with 16 points, while teammate and Associated Press Player of the Year Frank “The Tank” Kaminsky led all scorers with 20.

The win is especially sweet for the Badgers (36-3), as they lost to Kentucky in the Final Four last season. Now they’re headed to their first title game since 1941.

Wisconsin will face Duke, which delivered an 81-61 beating to No. 7 Michigan State earlier Saturday. Justise Winslow led the charge for the Blue Devils with 19 points and came one rebound shy of a double-double.

Monday night’s championship game will be a rematch, as Duke beat Wisconsin 80-70 earlier this season.
