Brady Quinn: Marcus Mariota Biggest Winner Among NFL Draft Quarterbacks

After all the dust finally settled, it looks as if Marcus Mariota is in the right place.

The Tennessee Titans reportedly listened to a handful of offers for the No. 2 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but when it was all said and done, the Titans stood pat and drafted the University of Oregon quarterback.

Former NFL quarterback Brady Quinn did a comprehensive breakdown of the QBs drafted this season, and he thinks Mariota is in a real good spot after going No. 2 to Tennessee, calling the former Duck “the biggest winner” from this draft class.

“Mariota was selected No. 2 overall with the intention of being the Day 1 starter,” Quinn wrote at FootballByFootball.com. “This is huge for a number of reasons, but most importantly his confidence. There was a lot of doubt about Mariota’s ability to adapt to an NFL style system. Based off the selection, the Titans have zero doubt he’s their guy.”
