Add John Elway to the list of pro football movers and shakers who have no problems with the discipline for Tom Brady.

The Denver Broncos general manager has voiced his support for the NFL after it suspended Brady four games in addition to fining and stripping the New England Patriots of draft picks following the release of the Wells Report.

“The integrity of the game is No. 1,” Elway said, per The Associated Press.  “I support (NFL commissioner Roger Goodell) 100 percent.”

Elway, however, didn’t make too big of a deal out of the discipline, particularly the Brady suspension as it won’t directly affect the Broncos.

“I knew that Tom Brady was going to be playing in Week 12 (versus the Broncos),” Elway said. “So, other than that, I wasn’t too concerned about it.”

Elway made the comments while attending a luncheon for former NFL safety John Lynch’s annual scholarship. Lynch also weighed in on Brady and the Patriots.

“(Brady’s legacy) will be a little bit tarnished and I think (for) many people it will just be a topic of conversation,” Lynch said, per the AP. “I think everyone knows Tom Brady is one heck of a player. As far as I know, in the Super Bowl they were airtight — pardon the pun — in terms of watching the footballs and he threw the ball all right.”
