Leicester City has every right to celebrate its Premier League survival, but it would be a gross understatement to say three of its players took things too far.

Leicester City has launched an internal investigation after English newspaper The Mirror published a video of three Foxes engaging in a sexual orgy at a hotel in Bangkok on Sunday. The players reportedly filmed their romp with three women and shared it with friends in the United Kingdom.

“We take the conduct of our players at every level extremely seriously and will take appropriate action, if necessary, once the full facts of the situation have been established,” Leicester City said in a statement on its website. “Pending the outcome of an internal investigation, the club will make no further comment.”

To make matters worse for the club, racially abusive language can be heard on the video, and one of the players involved is James Pearson, 21, the son of manager Nigel Pearson.

The other players are Tom Hopper, 21, and Adam Smith, 22. The three players all play primarily for Leicester City’s U-21 team.

Leicester used Twitter to forcefully criticize the three players after the story broke, according to the Mirror.

Leicester City currently is on a postseason tour of Thailand, the country from which owners Vichai and Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha (father and son, respectively) hail.
