It’s always entertaining when Kevin Millar catches up with a Boston Red Sox player on MLB Network’s “Intentional Talk.” Pablo Sandoval’s appearance Thursday lived up to the hype.
Millar chatted with Sandoval before the Red Sox defeated the Texas Rangers 5-1 in the teams’ series opener at Globe Life Park. Sandoval answered several “rapid fire” questions toward the tail end of his roughly 10-minute segment, but the highlight was his fashion advice to Millar’s co-host, Chris Rose.
Sandoval wasn’t a big fan of Rose’s wardrobe, and he pulled no punches. The Panda obviously was just having a good time with the crew, but the Red Sox’s overall fashion sense became a topic of discussion.
Sandoval also dished on Boston’s chemistry, David Ortiz’s leadership, the cheapest player in the Red Sox’s clubhouse, his most notable purchase since signing a $95 million contract over the offseason and whether he’d rather fight a panda or a giant.
Clearly, nothing’s off limits when Millar enters the equation.
