Team USA is just about to wrap up preliminary round play at the IIHF world hockey championships.
The opening round has largely been successful for the Americans, but they’ll have their final opening-round test Tuesday when they square off with Marian Gaborik and Slovakia.
The U.S. enters the matchup as the leaders in Group B with a 5-1 record through its first six games, while the Slovaks sit in last place.
