There are good fan reactions, there are great fan reactions and then there was what one Chicago Blackhawks fan said late Monday night.
After the Hawks captured their third Stanley Cup since 2010 with a 2-0 win on home ice against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6, the city of Chicago collectively put on its party pants with seemingly every Chicagoan taking to the streets to celebrate. WGN’s Marcus Leshock caught up with one fan in particular, and he did the world a gigantic favor by doing so.
The Hawks have understandably gained a few new fans in the city during their recent run of championships — winning three Cups in six years will do that — but this one guy explained just how awesome the team really is.
