Bruins Sign Tommy Cross, Tyler Randell To One-Year, Two-Way Contracts

The Boston Bruins announced a pair of roster moves Thursday.

They have signed forward Tyler Randell and defenseman Tommy Cross to one-year, two-way contracts. Each deal has a $600,000 salary cap hit at the NHL level.

Cross tallied 22 points (four goals, 18 assists) in 54 games for Providence this past season. He played four seasons at Boston College and was selected by the B’s in the second round of the 2007 NHL Draft.

Randell posted 20 points (11 goals, nine assists) in 74 games for the P-Bruins in 2014-15. He previously spent five seasons in the OHL and was chosen by Boston in the sixth round of the 2009 NHL Draft.
