Now it’s officially on to 2015.

The New England Patriots received their Super Bowl XLIX championship rings at Robert Kraft’s house Sunday night, and now the team can concentrate on the 2015 season during their upcoming five-week break.

“Great atmosphere leading up to getting the ring and everyone not knowing what it looked like, and finally opening it,” Patriots safety Devin McCourty said Monday on SiriusXM NFL Radio, via ESPN.com. “Right after that moment a huge party broke out, and everyone just had fun together one last time before moving on.”

Defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, running backs Shane Vereen and Stevan Ridley, tight end Tim Wright, linebackers Jonathan Casillas and Akeem Ayers, long snapper Danny Aiken and guard Dan Connolly were among the former Patriots who made it out to the event to collect their rings. Star cornerback Darrelle Revis didn’t attend the ceremony.

McCourty was impressed with his first Super Bowl ring and how it dwarfed quarterback Tom Brady’s other bling.

“Mr. Kraft definitely went beyond all measures for this ring,” McCourty said. “It was just crazy seeing Tom having all four of his on and looking at the ring compared to his other three.”
