It’s been a tough week for the Boston Red Sox, who are in the midst of a four-game losing skid.

It’s also been a difficult stretch for Boston pitching. The Red Sox have given up a total of 24 runs in their last three games, including a 13-10 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday night at Fenway Park.

One pitcher who stood out from the rest is Eduardo Rodriguez. The 22-year-old left hander started against the Baltimore Orioles — the team that traded him to the Red Sox last season — on Tuesday. He pitched six innings and gave up just three hits and zero runs. He also struck out seven and walked three in the no-decision.

Rodriguez’s performance against the Orioles earned him Amica Pitcher of the Week honors.

His next start is Saturday afternoon against the Blue Jays.
