John Calipari Crushes Colin Cowherd For Relentless John Wall Criticism (Video)

John Calipari loves John Wall. Colin Cowherd seems to hate John Wall. Naturally, a Friday discussion surrounding the point guard was spirited.

Calipari went on Cowherd’s ESPN Radio show on Friday morning to discuss a lot of things, and of course, the subject of Wall came up. Calipari coached Wall in the guard’s one season at the University of Kentucky, so Calipari was more than willing to go to bat for Wall.

Cowherd’s long been an outspoken critic of the Washington Wizards point guard. His issues date back to 2010 where he took exception, for some reason, to Wall doing a dance. With all that in mind, Calipari tried to straighten out Cowherd on Friday.

“You gotta stop on John Wall,” Calipari said. “You’re out of your mind.”

After explaining Wall’s worth to Cowherd for a couple of minutes, Calipari further laid down the law.

“You’re like that guy who’s hooked on this thing about the Dougie and it’s driving you crazy,” he stated. “You’ve gotta go to church, ask for forgiveness. Let it go by. Let it go. Forgive.”
