Too little, too late, Lightning.

The Blackhawks’ Stanley Cup parade got off to a late start Thursday when some nasty weather — that also goes by the same name of the team Chicago just beat in six games in the Final — delayed the festivities.

Tampa Bay did its best to prevent this parade during the series, and well, it appears it wasn’t ready to give up even after the season ended. The Lightning ultimately fell short in both of these endeavors, however, as the Blackhawks hoisted Lord Stanley for the third time in six seasons, and the parade eventually got underway.
