BOSTON — The Panda suffered an injury.

Red Sox third baseman Pablo Sandoval exited Saturday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park before the seventh inning with right quad tightness. Sandoval had two hits, including a two-run single, before leaving the contest and being replaced by Jeff Bianchi at third base.

Sandoval struck out swinging on three pitches against Blue Jays starter R.A. Dickey in the bottom of the sixth. Bianchi then took over for Sandoval at the hot corner in the top of the seventh.
