If you want to have every assumption you ever made about Rob Gronkowski confirmed, then look no further than his upcoming book.

The New England Patriots tight end penned his memoir, “It’s Good to Be Gronk,” with agent Jason Rosenhaus, and it’s set to hit shelves July 14. But the MMQB’s Robert Klemko provided the world with some excerpts on SI.com on Monday, and it gives quite a revealing look into Gronkowski’s wild life.

As you might expect, there are hilarious stories about bachelorette parties and frat-house melees, but his more honest takes show that deep down, he knows exactly what he’s doing.

“To this day, I still haven’t touched one dime of my signing bonus or NFL contract money,” the book reads, per Klemko. “I live off my marketing money and haven’t blown it on any big-money expensive cars, expensive jewelry or tattoos and still wear my favorite pair of jeans from high school … I don’t hurt anyone (except Gord with the occasional kick to the groin), I don’t do drugs, I don’t drive drunk, I don’t break the law … I’m a 23-year-old guy just looking to have a fun time.”

And what’s even crazier is that Gronk also leads us to believe Bill Belichick condones his shenanigans, although the Patriots coach doesn’t really understand them.

“While I was watching a training camp practice in between my own exercises, Coach Belichick was standing right next to me and said, ‘Rob, you are one of the hardest workers I’ve seen, and you’re always working hard when you’re here, but when you’re not here … I don’t know about your craziness off the field, the messing,’” the book says. “I started laughing and told him, ‘The fun stuff makes me grind harder, coach.’ He shook his head as he walked off and said, ‘Whatever works for you.’”
