Tiger Woods’ love life is back in the news, and it’s a sordid tale his agent wholeheartedly denies.
Mark Steinberg, the golfer’s rep, told Fox411 a report that Woods cheated on Lindsey Vonn with Jason Dufner’s ex-wife is “absolutely 100 percent false” and a “complete lie and fabrication.”
The National Enquirer, of all places, reported that Woods now is dating Amanda Boyd, who finalized her divorce from Dufner in April, but started the relationship with her while he was with Vonn. The Daily Mail Online reported in May that Woods and Vonn split after he was caught cheating with whom a source called “a nameless, faceless woman.”
Boyd isn’t exactly nameless and faceless, though. In fact, she’s an Internet sensation because of her good looks and public persona.
Still, if Woods is dating Boyd, it’s a bad look. He and Dufner once were U.S. Ryder Cup teammates, and he also reportedly is trying to reconcile with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren. Needless to say, this would help in that regard.
Of course, Tiger has other things to worry about, namely his play, which was a disaster at last month’s U.S. Open. This latest report only will release the English tabloid hounds on Woods at this month’s British Open and increase the pressure.
