Colin Cowherd wanted to get to know more about Jim Harbaugh the human. It turned out to be too much to ask for.
Cowherd had Harbaugh, the new University of Michigan head football coach, on his ESPN Radio program Wednesday. The interview started off simply enough with Cowherd asking a few softball questions.
However, as much as Cowherd poked and prodded with questions about the Michigan program, Harbaugh’s decision to leave the NFL and everything in between, the coach offered little if anything in the way of answers.
So after one final last-ditch effort to salvage the interview, Cowherd cut things short on the interview.
UPDATE (2:25 p.m. ET):Â Harbaugh may have disappointed in the interview, but his Twitter game still is strong. Here was his response to Wednesday’s events:
