Brandon Browner will begin a new chapter of his NFL career with the New Orleans Saints this season. On Thursday, though, the 30-year-old cornerback got a nice memento from an unforgettable 2014 campaign.

Browner, who spent last season with the New England Patriots and helped the team win its fourth championship, took to Instagram to show off his shiny new Super Bowl XLIX ring.

The letter and massive ring came attached with a personal note from Patriots owner Robert Kraft:

“I’m truly sorry that you left us — you were one of my favorites in the locker room!”

The Patriots opted not to pick up Browner’s $2 million roster bonus at the start of free agency, and he signed with New Orleans on March 12.

New England also lost Darrelle Revis to free agency in the offseason, as the All-Pro cornerback signed with the New York Jets. Revis also received his Super Bowl ring, but not without a bit of controversy, as he recently told Sports Illustrated he wasn’t too happy with the Patriots’ decision not to let his mother attend the team’s ring ceremony.
