Boston Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz’s name has come up in All-Star talks, so it should come as no surprise the right-hander’s start against the Toronto Blue Jays on June 29 earned him his second straight Amica Pitcher of the Week honor.

Buchholz pitched eight innings of one-run ball in Boston’s 3-1 win, allowing just five hits while striking out five and walking none. The victory was Buchholz’s third straight.

The 30-year-old has been consistently good for the Red Sox after overcoming a rough start to the season. After his outing against the Blue Jays, he had managed to compile a 2.33 ERA in his last 10 starts.
