LeBron James still isn’t over losing the NBA Finals to the point where it keeps him up at night.

James has more or less been able to move on after his depleted Cleveland Cavaliers squad lost the Finals in six games to the Golden State Warriors, but he’s still not totally over the loss. The best player in the game, James still sounds like he’ll have plenty of motivation as next season approaches.

“I just don’t feel like you ever move on from losing in the Finals,” James said Sunday on Bleacher Report Radio, per ESPN.com. “Because you feel like you’re right there and feel like you have the opportunity to do something special. … I can never get away from losing in the Finals.

“I guess there’s nightmares now about situations throughout the games that’s always replaying in my head.”

But don’t you dare shed a tear for James. Things are getting better and better for the downtrodden king.

“It’s definitely difficult, you know I’m getting better every day, but you know it takes quite a while for me to get out of the funk.”

If there’s anything James is really good at — other than basketball, of course — it’s letting the world know the trials and tribulations he faces. Here’s hoping the poor guy gets some sleep moving forward, though.
