Every basketball fan knows Mark Cuban says what he wants, when he wants to — one of the many perks of being a billionaire, apparently. On Saturday, however, the Dallas Mavericks owner caught headlines for taking a slightly different approach.

Cuban joined NBA TV during his team’s summer league game against the New Orleans Pelicans and, of course, was asked about the DeAndre Jordan fiasco, which saw the free agent big man renege on his verbal agreement with Dallas to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Instead of bad-mouthing Jordan, Cuban elected to intentionally disregard the the 26-year-old’s existence.

Here’s his full response: “Who? I have no idea who you’re talking about. Seriously … I’m trying to figure out who you’re talking about.”

Bold strategy, Mark.

Jordan tweeted an apology to Cuban and the Mavs on Friday, but considering Cuban isn’t even acknowledging him at the moment, we’re guessing that apology wasn’t accepted.
