OMI’s hit single “Cheerleader” is the hottest track in America, topping the Billboard Top 100 earlier this month. The reggae fusion mix is an ode to a girl OMI calls his cheerleader because, as the song states, she’s “always right there when I need her.”
The New England Patriots cheerleaders, though, took advantage of the smash hit and recorded a lip-sync music video to one of the song’s many remixes while shooting their annual calendar in the Dominican Republic.
There really isn’t much more we can say about the awesomeness of this combination, so without further ado:
Kudos to the Pats cheerleaders, who clearly are right there when we need them as well. Patriots training camp opens Wednesday.
